Game Drives in Uganda Queen Elizabeth National Park

Without a game drive in one of the largest parks of Uganda, your wildlife safari expedition will not be as rewarding. The best time for the drive is always early in the morning and late in the evening. The drive is done through the tracks which are over 200 kilometres. You are encouraged to drive at leisure so you can see more.

On the Ishasha route, you will see the tree climbing lions resting and playing on the large fig trees in the park. Other attractions present include the Uganda cob, the Bufalloes and the White Colobus and other monkey varieties in the Acacia savannah grassland

Kyambura Gorge
This is established in the eastern region of the sheltered region and supports related mammals to the remainder of the park. It has three crater lakes, which draw big numbers of Flamingoes that are not any where else in Uganda. The precipitous Kyambura gorge formed by the tumultuous waters of the roaring Kyambura River provides a luxuriant riverine woodland, habit to the chimpanzees, dark and light-colored colobus and red-tailed monkeys, Olive baboons and new primates as easily as lot of woodland birds. A guidebook nature walks takes visitors into the gorge and offers a good opportunity to chase habituated chimp in their normal habitat.
