LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK SAFARI
“The home of flamingos”
The park is situated in Nakuru district, Rift valley province, 160 km north-west of Nairobi. It is renowned for its flamingo population.
Fauna; there are Aquatic habitats like Hippos, crocodiles and land mammals like Lions, Rhinos.
Birds; Nakuru park boasts of the largest world’s flamingo population of about 1.5 flamingos and other 450 bird species.
Accommodation
Naishi guest house, set amongst acacia trees with magnificent views of the park, accommodation is made up of the main house and a separate annex. The main house has 2 triple bedrooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, each while the annex has two single bedrooms, each with a single bed.
The main house has a bathroom with WC whereas the annex has a shower and WC; there is an outside latrine, a furnished sitting room, an open-plan dinning area and a well equipped kitchen.

Open: daily, 6:00am-7:00pm including pubic holidays.
Note: No entry is allowed on foot.
Visitors will not be allowed entry after 6:15pm.
Entry
Entry is by smartcard only.
Cards can be obtained and loaded at the main gate.
Provided: Electricity (by generator 7 pm to 9 pm), caretaker, bed linen, pillows, blankets, towels, soap, toilet tissues.
How to get there
By Air: Via Naishi Airstrip
By road: There is a well-maintained and signposted network of roads suitable for 2WD all year round.
The park is 160km north west of Nairobi along the Nairobi-Nakuru high way
The main entrance and park headquarters are 4km from Nakuru town.
