Our trips utilize camels as our beasts of burden and because we are not hindered by vehicles we can go far from the beaten path. Northern Kenya particularly has more tribes living traditionally than most of the rest of Africa and our large mammal diversity here in Laikipia is greater than most other African destinations. We are obviously quite biased, but I do think that Kenya should be considered a major destination for walking safaris.
