By Air
The most popular of getting to Chad is by air. Most foreign visitors to Chad arrive by Air. There are several international and African airlines with cheap flights to Chad including Ethiopian Airlines, Sudan Airways, Cameroon Airlines, Afriqiyah Airways and Air France. All have at least one flight a week to N’Djamena. There are daily from Paris to N’Djamena by Air France. Ethiopian Airlines has 4 flights a week to and fro the Chad capital and Addis Ababa.
By Road
There are several border crossings with Cameroon, via Kousseri near N’Djaména and near the towns of Bongor and Lere; you can also connect to N’Djaména from Khartoum on road; from neighbours Niger, visitors can also use the paved road linking N’Djamena and Maiduguri.
