Dahlak Marine National Park

Dahlak Marine National Park is a national park located wholly in the waters of the Northern Red Sea adjoining the Dahlak Island in the central coastal region of Eritrea. (The park derives its name from the islands).
This is the biggest wildlife jungle in the country and comprises a number of ecosystems; and is one of the most visited tourist attractions of Eritrea. An extensive portion of the Park is covered by the Dahlak Islands.
Biodiversity

Dahlak Marine National Park prominence and beauty is flourishing on the wildlife diversity and rich marine life that the park harbors. Its close proximity to the vast Dahlak archipelago and the Northern Red Sea is one of the attributes behind the diversity of flora and fauna in this region. More than 350 different types of fish have been recorded present in the waters of the park.
Activities

Dahlak Marine National Park is the most prominent sightseeing spot in Eritrea. There are a number of safari-related activities arranged in the jungle such as scuba diving.
