- Washa Micheal Cave: On this hilly area at a place called Ankorecha you find a cave, whose half part is destroyed during the Italian invasion. The column of this cave resembles that of the famous rock hewn churches of Lalibela.
- Lalibela: Lalibela located in the northern part of the country is where King Lalibela left something behind on his passing for the rest of the world to admire. It comprises of eleven rock-hewn churches, often referred to as the “Eighth wonder of the world”. It is carved out of one rock and protected by the surrounding.
- Lake Tana: This is the largest lake in Ethiopia and many tourists spectacle at its absolute splendor. It is the source of the famous Nile River, the very spot from where its journey to the Mediterranean is marked. The lake is famous for boat rides in the country.
