Banjul International Airport is the only airport in the country and handles both international and domestic flights. It is situated 24 kilometres southwest of the capital, Banjul. The airport spans over an area of 1,327 hectares with a runway length of 3600metres. All international flights to Gambia touch down at Banjul airport.
