Kenya Birding Season

If not the world’s best, Kenya represents Africa’s prime birding destination. In Nairobi you are certain to find birds all over. A stroll to the grounds of the National Museum for instance is likely to turn up bright black and yellow weavers, tiny iridescent sunbirds resembling flying jewels, Secretary Bird and Moose birds with long tails unique to elsewhere in Africa. The giant Marabou Storks also frequent the city and commonly nests on the acacia trees along the streets.
