Description
Tortilis features seventeen en-suite deluxe camps and the 2-bed roomed home for family unit nestled on a gentle slope at the edge of the Park. All of them are richly furnished utilizing localized stuffs with thatch roofs and private verandas.
Each tent is elevated on a wooden deck and sheltered by a thatched roof overhanging a large veranda, ideal for an early afternoon siesta and spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The tents have been designed for comfort with traditional safari chairs, chests and beds, with private bathroom, hot water and electricity supplied by solar panels.
The dinning room and the bar offer a good view of animals at a nearby waterhole. The camp has been kept small to ensure that each guest receives high quality and personalized services.
Management at this safari camp that takes pride in excellent services offered including serving exceptional Italian cuisine, much of which is grown organically in its own garden. Flavored bush meals are also prepared.

Getting There
By Road, it is about 260km, taking about four and half hours drive. There are daily schedule flights from Nairobi and Mombasa. Amboseli airstrip is a 45 minute drive to the Camp.

Samburu Safari

: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi
Arrive at Nairobi Airport; have the overnight to Nairobi at the hotel of your choice.
Day Two
: Drive north across the equator to the Samburu National Reserve about 350 km. Go for afternoon game drives. Overnight at Samburu Game Lodge
Day Three
:  Wake-up to a buffet breakfast before departin for the early morning game drives. Retire for lunch at the lodges and prepare for the late afternoon game drives in this open savannah which is traversed by the Ewaso Nyiro River where you can not miss sight of giant crocodiles and hippos. : Head southward to Aberdare National Park about 215 km where you reach in time for lunch at Outspan Hotel. Spend a luxury overnight at Treetops
