Morocco Birding Tours
Morocco may be an underrated birding spot in the world, but it actually has a great variety of birds. What’s more to this is that many of its bird species are exceedingly rare. Along the desert coast of Morocco, you will find Ground Squirrels, Black-Headed Bush Shrikes, and Moussier’s Redstarts, Wild Boars, Tiger Blues, Gulls, Ducks, Barbary Falcons, Eagles and a multitude of Lizards. There are large numbers of waders, including a large colony of flamingoes, plus little ringed plovers, black-winged stilts and black tailed godwits.
Visitors can look forward to seeing Waders, Woodpeckers, Spoonbills, Flamingos and a few of the bird species that are on the endangered list. Egyptian Cobras, Golden Jackals, Red Foxes and Leopards are also found in theses reserves.

The Wildlife Parks and Reserves include Arganeraie Biosphere Reserve, Oasis Du Sud Marocain Biosphere Reserve, Talassemtane National Park, Ifrane National Park, El Houceima National Park, Oued Massa Nature Reserve, Souss Massa National Park (known for large numbers of bird species) Tazekka National Park plus Merdja Zerga and Toubkal Biological reserves.
