Casablanca Nightlife

Casablanca is not so famous for a complexity at night; you therefore need an on spot guidance from a local to get familiar. However, it has despicable nightclubs and discos, bars, like the cluster along rue Allal Ben Abdallah, which mostly tend to be male-admissible. While bars close fairly early, nightclubs open at 2300 and don’t close until 0300, though the less successful ones are depressingly empty

BARS

1. Le Diplomat Bar - Le Diplomate Bar in the Le Royal Mansour Meridien Hotel is very stylishly Moroccan with wood paneled walls, tiles, and sofas’, the ambiance is intimate and casual.

2. Cas Bar is a sports bar and includes several large flat screen televisions for watching sporting events. After the events, enjoy live music and a DJ. Cas Bar is a perfect place to relax with friends.

3. Villa FandangoLocated in the trendy Boulevard de la Corniche in Ain Diab, is a very popular bar with the youth.

CAFES

1. Rick’s Café - in Old Medina, this cafe has all the architectural features of classic Morocco curved arches, stenciled walls, and brass lighting. It’s popular among locals. Reservations are strongly recommended and be advised that Rick’s has a very strict dress code.

2. La SqalaFountains and gardens keep the ambience relaxing with the best couscous. Located in Old Medina, the building was constructed in 1769. Patrons have a choice of dining indoors or outdoors.

CLUBS

1. Black House DiscothequeThis chicly black and red decorated club is located in the Hyatt Regency Hotel Casablanca in the Lobby. Dance the night away from midnight until 3:00 am.

2. Le Balcon 33On the Boulevard de la Corniche, Le Balcon 33 appeals to the youth of Casablanca. The music and dancing are terrific; however if you are not eating at Balcon 33, you will have to pay a large fee to drink and dance.

3. Club Caesar – located in the Sheraton Casablanca in the center of the city. If your preferences are to dance the night away, then you should visit Caesar’s Club, one of the best discos in Casablanca.

4. La BodegaIf it is loud music you fancy, then La Bodega is the place for you. It is open Monday through Saturday from noon until 1:00 am. Upstairs, the house band plays everything from Spanish flamenco to rock and roll, while downstairs a disco lets you dance the night away.
