Our Map of Namibia features geographical and political information as well as location boundaries of Namibia; the capital, Windhoek and other important cities of the country. Namibia lies in southern part of the African continent and south of the Equator; it is bounded by five countries namely Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa. The country is also surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean in the west.

Geographical Namibia
The country occupies a total land area of 825,419 sq km with a coastline that stretches up to 1,572 km. The highest point of the country is at Konigstein at 2,605m above sea level and the lowest point is Atlantic Ocean.
Cities of Namibia

The capital of Namibia is Windhoek; and lies at an altitude of 1,722m above sea level. The city is served by two airports namely Eros and Hosea Kutako International Airport; and these are the principal gateways to the country for travelers from abroad.
Climate

Namibia experiences desert type of climate with hot and scarce rainfall. It has two distinct weather conditions i.e. the winter condition and summer condition. The winter comes between mid May and September and is characteristically warm. Summer season between the months of October and April is notably hotter punctuated with serious rains around the start of the year to late March.
