Seychelles Flights

Seychelles flights are mainly operated by the National Airline- Air Seychelles. It operates flights on a weekly basis between Mahe and some major world cities including Johannesburg. It also flies to Alphonse, Desroches and North Islands, but on a charter basis.

The fare for a 15-minute hop is €61 (€123 return). Luggage maximum is 20kg with a fine of €1 per excess luggage kilo.

Seychelles International Airport

All international Seychelles flights touch Seychelles International Airport (384400 sq km), which is about 6 miles (10km) south-east of Port Victoria, the capital city on Mahe Island. It is the only international airport in the Seychelles. It also handles interisland domestic flights and has two terminals with one international, which is fully wireless and connected to walkways, banks, supermarkets, forex bureaus and public receivers.

Domestic Flights

Air Seychelles operates internal flights from Mahe Island to Praslin Island throughout the day.

There are other domestic flights between Victoria, Praslin Island and La Digue Island. These flights as well as the Catamaran traveling between Mahe and Praslin operate solitary during the day time.

Chartered flights and helicopters also provide both daily and weekly shuttle services between Mahe and the other islands. These chartered scenic flights offer the best way for travelers to get to the private islands.
