Sabi Sands Game Reserve
is the oldest private game reserve in South Africa, and was the pioneer of sustainable safari tourism in the whole Southern African region. The 65,000-hectare Sabi Sands Game Reserve is located on the south-western corner neighbouring Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. The being fence-less makes it easy for the abundant wildlife to freely roam between the two wildlife sanctuaries. WILDLIFE

BIRD LIFE

More than 500 species including the resident and migratory birds are inhabitants of Sabi Sands Private Reserve. Some of the major avian species found in the reserve include Bateleur, Gold-entailed woodpecker, Fork-tailed drongo, Brown-hooded kingfisher, Lilac-breasted roller, Red-backed shrike, ostrich and Marabou Stork.
