Location

• Valley of the Waves; Highlights of this thrilling resort include the Valley of the Waves, an enthralling water park. A large lagoon dominates the scene with a wave machine capable of generating 1.8m waves every 90 seconds. From the aptly names Temple of Courage swimmers drop a heart stopping 17m down a chute and under a bridge before splashing into a small pool at the foot of the slide. The Valley boasts of a beyond belief variety of adventures waiting to be discovered and enjoyed here with fantastic water slides, a wave-splashed sandy beach and the ‘sacred’ and ‘lazy’ rivers. This water park has five exhilarating flume rides.

• Bordering the Sun City complex is the malaria free Pilansberg National Park which is home to the mighty Big Five.
