- National Flag Day: This is the day the British flag was brought down and the Swazi flag was raised for the first time – Every 25 April

- Ascension Day: Ascension Day marks the day when the risen Lord Jesus Christ ascended up into Heaven. It was 40 days after his resurrection from the dead – International Rotational date.
- Birthday of the Late King Sobhuza – 22/07/2011
- Umhlanga Reed Dance: The ceremony attracts Swazi girls every end of the month of August from all around the country and lasts for about eight days. This event presents the maidens with an opportunity to honour the Queen Mother. Only childless, unmarried girls can take part in this exciting event. Dates are set according to the moon’s cycle.
