ABOUT LOMÉ
Lomé is the capital city of Togo. Nestled on the Gulf of Guinea towards the south west and spread over the area of 56785 km², Lomé accommodates the majority count of the Togolese population (737,751 residents); which is all esteemed to dwell in such a popular yet valuable destination. GETTING THERE
Getting to Lomé by a direct flight is pretty expensive. It is better to fly first to Accra in Ghana then connect to Lomé. The journey from Accra to Lomé usually does not take more than 3 hours. However if you choose to fly, several international airlines fly to Lomé including Afriqiyah airways, Toumai Air Tchad, Air Ivorie, Air France, Air Burkina, Royal Air Maroc, Air Senegal International and Ethiopian Airlines. All international flights to Lomé touch down at Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport. It is from here that you can pick up a taxi to your destination. The airport offers both domestic and international flights. There are also border crossing to Lomé from Accra.
