Kasubi Royal Tombs

The Kasubi tombs, traditionally known as Muzibu-Azaala-Mpanga, are a burial place for the four previous Kings of Buganda known traditionally as Kabakas, and are situated five km away from Kampala city center on Kasubi hill. The cultures of the Baganda lie in the Magnificent Tombs

Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru Caves

Located 10km from Fort Portal town, the “Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru”  is limestone site with an amazing legendary story behind their existence. The myth surrounding the caves are that they were named after Nyinamwiru a daughter of Bukuku one of the ancient rulers of the Batembuzi Dynasty of the current Babito Kings of Toro and Bunyoro Kingdoms. She was a proud attractive girl who refused to marry the man her father chose for her. As a result she was punished by cutting off her breasts which later are assumed to have grown into these scenic rocks with a dripping white liquid assumed to be milk.

b) Spectacular Water Falls

Ssezibwa falls

The falls are located about 20 miles along Jinja Road from Kampala; is a Buganda Heritage site, with an out span of sharp edged rocks and a magnificent sound of soothing waters flowing down the steep ridged stones. Local people attach spiritual and traditional significance as well as spiritual beliefs onto the site.
Murchison Falls

Situated in in the Northwest of the country, The Murchison falls on the Nile river provide a wonderful scenic view at all times of the year. They also offer one of the best photographic spots for adventure travelers and honeymooners in the country.

Tororo Rock


The rock is situated approximately 5km southeast of the central business district of Tororo town. The distinguished and imposing steep volcano rises to about 1800m above sea level. It is the most prominent landmark in Eastern Uganda and boasts an awesome panoramic view of the whole of Eastern Uganda. This enormous rock which stands erect like a transmission mast is hard to ignore for visitors to this region. A mysterious history surrounds its formation. Some local resident regard the mighty rock a cultural heritage. The Tororo Rock is one if not the most challenging rock to climb. Tourists trekking the Rock are destined for a steep landscape through narrow track winds. It’s extremely cool on reaching the rock summit.

The Nile River is a major north-flowing river in North Africa, generally regarded as the longest river in the world. It flows north through Tanzania, Lake Victoria, Uganda and southern Sudan. Its principle source is the White Nile, one of the tributaries originating in Uganda. The river’s majestic flow and brutal power makes its an enthralling photographic site.

Kaniyo-Pabidi Eco-Tourism Site
Kaniyo-Pabidi Eco-tourism site is nestled 220 km from Kampala and 29km north of Masindi District on the Para road. This natural habitat situated in the North Eastern part of Budongo Forest Reserve is home to several primate species including chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, the Blue Monkey, Red tailed monkey and baboons. There is also a variety of tree species renowned possess medicinal qualities. Butterflies, moths, and Tropical flowers are abundant. Numerous forest trails for nature walks are maintained. Other safaris here include chimp tracking, bird watching, chimpanzee habituation and camping.
